Johnny Depp slept with Angelina Jolie while they were working together on “The Tourist” or, at least, that's what Vanessa Paradis, Depp's partner for almost 14 years and the mother of his children, believes.

Though she's already denied she and Johnny are having problems, the tabloids are not convinced, so they're still working the breakup angle.

The latest print issue of The Enquirer (story via here) even claims to have more details on the alleged split, saying the first signs of a crack could be noticed back when Depp was working with Jolie on the box office flop.

As some fans must know, reports about how Vanessa wasn't happy that Johnny had agreed to star in a movie with Angelina started to circulate right before “The Tourist” came out.

They were true, The Enquirer says now.

Admittedly, Vanessa begged Johnny not to take the project, but he refused to listen. Not only that, but he slept with Jolie which, in turn, led to the demise of his romance with Vanessa.

“It’s no coincidence that things began to unravel for Johnny and Vanessa when he started working with Angelina on The Tourist last February. Vanessa was absolutely convinced that Johnny slept with Angelina, and her jealousy and suspicions ended up destroying them,” a source claiming to be well in the know with the situation says.

“Vanessa was against Johnny working with Angelina in the first place. She firmly believed that Angelina stole Brad Pitt away from Jennifer Aniston and felt she’d do the same with Johnny,” the insider adds.

Spies on the set of the film claim that the chemistry between Depp and Jolie on set was undeniable, speaking volumes about the state of their relationship.

“Angelina and Johnny were constantly hanging out, cracking each other up. Angelina drove a wedge between them,” says another tipster.

Now promoting a new film, Paradis was forced to answer questions about her romance with Depp, which she initially denied to do, saying one should never trust the tabloids.

Eventually, pressed for a statement from all sides, she said reports that she and Johnny were practically living separate lives – and had been doing so for over a year – were false.
