14 DAY TRIAL // Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have already denied any problems in their relationship but that's not enough to convince the tabloids. Star magazine is now saying that she too has moved on with her life – and another man.
The thought is driving Depp insane, the glossy claims in its latest print issue (story via CB), even though he too has been sowing his wild seeds for some time.
Word that the two stars are on the verge of breaking up picked up a lot of speed at the beginning of the year, prompting the usually press-shy Vanessa to issue a statement to say none of that was true.
Since then, though, rumors have only intensified, with some even linking Johnny to one of the Olsen twins, with whom he reportedly spent the night just recently.
Seeing how they're separated, Star writes, Vanessa too is trying to move on and is seeing someone else, but the mere thought is making Johnny's blood boil.
“Vanessa was spotted sharing an intimate meal in Paris with musician Benjamin Biolay on April 4. And Johnny – who has been boozing a lot and otherwise acting out in Hollywood lately with pals like Marilyn Manson – is devastated by the new relationship, an insider tells Star,” the mag writes.
Whatever Depp might think of her relationship with the musician, Vanessa is probably not even interested in him like that at this time, the report goes on to say.
She likes him and they're good friends, but she's thinking mostly of what a wonderful writing partner he'd make for her.
“[They] are good friends, and she thinks he could be a great writing partner. But Johnny isn’t sure what’s going on between them, and he certainly does not like the amount of time she’s spending with Benjamin,” an insider is quoted as saying.
“He thinks it’s the final sign that Vanessa is over him. She’s stopped talking about them getting back together, when before she mentioned it every time they talked,” adds the spy.
As expected, this kind of behavior is only making things worse, because it shows Vanessa that Johnny really is a changed man these days.
“This kind of bad behavior is the reason she left him. It’s not going to win her back,” the insider goes on to say.
Officially, Vanessa and Johnny are still together and very much in love.
