There must still be some leftover magic from Christmas, or else there are some occult forces at work here, otherwise I can't explain how come that little Disney vixen Vanessa Hudgens is talking about the naked photo scandal in which she was involved back in September last year. I mean, yes, I know the people at Disney probably wrote her lines and told her exactly how to act, breathe, sigh, laugh and all the things a starlet (and amateur naked photo shoot star) does during an interview. But nevertheless, she actually dared to touch upon the (taboo) subject of a teenage superstar girl acting naughty (no, I'm not talking about Jamie Lynn Spears, people), and that's always interesting to write, read and talk about.
"I'm much better now" Vanessa replied when asked how she feels about the scandal in question. But truthfully I don't like talking about it. It was something that was meant to be private, and even though it isn't anymore, I'd still like to keep it as private as I can. It was very traumatic, and I am extremely upset it happened. I hope all my fans can learn from my mistake and make smart decisions. But I wouldn't have been able to get through it if it wasn't for my family, friends, and fans, who supported me all along the way". Yes, nice reply - but I can only hope some wisdom has come from the "trauma", the likes of "never pose for an amateur naked photo shoot again" or else "if you've been stupid enough to pose for an amateur photo shoot, don't leave the goodies out of your sight".
Vanessa also says that she found out about the leaked photos from her manager and couldn't believe her eyes. Or ears. The point is, Disney is apparently on major damage control - and is probably setting the scene for High School Musical 3, preparing clean, gossip and scandal-free backgrounds for all its people. Apparently, Vanessa is just about the luckiest person alive - since she has an understanding mother on top of all the other blessings that were cast on her. Apparently, little Vanessa's mother didn't flip out when she heard about the photos - which I think it's great, and also a bit ironic in the wake of all the Jamie Lynn drama and the questions regarding how Hollywood moms bring up their famous teenage daughters.
"I was just open with her, and she was just so cute. She was like, "Well, everyone can be naked if they want to". My parents are very supportive of me. And they know I'm a teenager, and yes, kids do stupid things sometimes. It's very unfortunate because with the Internet these days, you don't have a personal life. Nothing is private: Everyone knows everything, and they can find out everything about you". Well, she is right about this one - so on second thought, maybe Vanessa did learn her lesson. Which may mean everything - or nothing. Sorry to be such a skeptic. I wish Vanessa all the best, but I will personally never trust another teenage superstar again. After all, Jamie Lynn looked like an angel until it turned out she was slighly more knowledgeable in certain areas of life than expected.
