Vanessa Hudgens is no stranger to scandal but she’s never been involved in a drug scandal before. At Coachella over the weekend, the Disney star was photographed ingesting a mysterious white substance believed to be cocaine.

Photos of the actress emerged online hours ago, prompting speculation with celebrity bloggers and glossy e-zines about the substance she was consuming.

It seemed that she reached inside her bag for the substance, which she took out on her finger. She then put it in her mouth and sucked it clean.

Some bloggers were quick to say that she was most likely using Coachella and the fact that there were so many people there to do drugs in broad daylight, even when paparazzi were around.

PopEater contacted Hudgens’ rep for comment on the photos – and, it turns out, she was falsely accused because the substance in question was chocolate.

“A scantily clad Vanessa Hudgens went to Coachella with boyfriend Josh Hutcherson this weekend and photographers snapped the camera-friendly star having a good time. How good of a time, we may not know exactly,” PopEater writes.

“But don’t worry, Baby V fans! PopEater has reached out to Hudgens’ camp for comment and they told us that it’s ‘white chocolate.’ Phew, Hudgens has avoided another photo scandal,” the same e-zine notes.

Speaking of scandals, in one of her most recent interviews, Hudgens spoke out about how annoying she finds this habit interviewers have of asking her of her old photo scandals, when her personal pics leaked online, showing her in a very un-Disney-like light.

“It’s just silly because I’m a very present person, and that’s the thing that has been so in the past. The fact that somebody keeps bringing up the past is just selfish. I mean, it sucks,” she said, as we also reported at the time.

“I already released a statement the first time it happened. It’s just unfortunate that it keeps reminding people about the past and not the present,” she stressed.
