The Last Guardian was once more a no-show at the E3 trade show, despite the fact that Sony insists that the game is still in development, and it seems that even some of the developers working on it are no longer willing to spend time working on the title and have decided to move on to other projects.

A new studio called Friend & Foe announces that it is currently working on an indie project called Vane, which is an adventure game that focuses on exploration of a world and its mysteries.

The team states in its first blog that, “we will have to balance some story reveals here and there to keep you interested without spoiling too much, so apologies in advance if things sometimes are a little vaguer than you'd like - it's our goal to be as forthcoming about the game as possible without ruining things.”

Friend & Foe is made up of Ivar Dahlberg, Rasmus Deguchi, Rui Guerreiro, Thomas Lilja and Victor Santaquiteria.

They have previous experience working on The Last Guardian but also on projects like Killzone, Battlefield 3 and Bionic Commando.

Vane is at the moment in the prototype stage and the company says that it plans to build on it and welcomes all feedback coming from potential players.
