14 DAY TRIAL // A single mother of three for Ponca City, Oklahoma has had her pool vandalized, with someone putting a mysterious additive in the water and turning it neon yellow.
“I thought someone was just like playing a prank on us, just dumped paint in our pool,” Lona Rush's son Darian, 19, says.
When they woke up on July 13, the family noticed that their pool was suddenly looking radioactive.
Now the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture is not letting the woman drain the water until the substance tainting it is identified.
According to KFOR, the contents of the pool have to be hauled away, they cannot go into the public sewage system.
Since Rush cannot afford the thousand dollar bill, she is asking for donations to have the pool cleaned.
