Van Halen Songs Cannot Be Imported into Guitar Hero 5

Those who have pre-ordered Guitar Hero 5 are set to also receive copies of the upcoming Van Halen game. The first copies have begun to come in and some important details have been confirmed.

On the one hand, it seems that the songs from the disk cannot be imported into Guitar Hero 5, which is pretty disappointing for the fans interested in having only one game as a hub for their music simulation experiences. Also, Guitar Hero Van Halen seems to be pretty much based on a reskinned Metallica engine, with little additions to make the experience smoother. The full track lists for the title are now available.

The Van Halen tracks confirmed as being in the game are: “Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love”; “And the Cradle Will Rock…”; “Atomic Punk”; ”Beautiful Girls”; “Cathedral”; “Dance the Night Away”; “Eruption”; “Everybody Wants Some!”; “Feel Your Love Tonight”; “Hang ‘Em High”; “Hear About It Later”; “Hot for Teacher”; “Ice Cream Man”; “I'm the One”; “Jamie's Cryin;”; “Jump”; “Little Guitars”; “Loss of Control”; “Mean Street”; “(Oh) Pretty Woman”; “Panama”; “Romeo Delight”; “Runnin' with the Devil”; “So This Is Love?”; “Somebody Get Me a Doctor”; “Spanish Fly”; “Unchained” and “You Really Got Me”.

There are also some guest songs included on the disk, with most of them from groups that have influenced or have been influenced by Van Halen.
