The organizers of the Game Developers Conference and video game developer Valve announce that they have added two new talks to the schedule of the 2013 event, one dealing with how Team Fortress 2 was ported to virtual reality goggles and another about how future virtual reality experiences might work.

The first talk will be given by Valve programmer Joe Ludwig and is called “What We Learned Porting Team Fortress 2 to Virtual Reality”.

Michael Abrash will talk about “Why Virtual Reality is Hard (And Where it Might be Going)”.

The two talks might offer more information on what the hardware division at Valve is currently working on and how the company plans to integrate its big titles, including Team Fortress 2, with new tech.

The Game Developers Conference takes place between March 25 and 29 in San Francisco.
