Valve has released yet another beta version of its Steam client, featuring a lot of changes and improvements.

Valve usually pushes a few Beta updates before upgrading the stable branch of Steam, and now it's time for another Beta version to be released.

According to the developers, a "High Priority" setting for games has been implemented. If this is enabled, Steam will prioritize updates for these games, downloading the before updates for other games.

Also, the in-game performance when enumerating community items has been improved, a section for games that need updates but are set to not automatically update has been added, and the Big Picture Mode's Downloads page for the new Queue behavior has been updated.

Check the official announcement for more details about this release. You can also download the Steam installer from Softpedia if you don't have the client.
