Valve has released another update for the Steam client

Valve has launched a new beta version for its Steam for Linux client, bringing a lot of interesting new features.

After a development version garners sufficient changes, Valve promotes it to stable. The work for the next beta starts almost immediately.

Highlights of the latest Steam for Linux beta update:

• Uploading large files to the Steam Cloud is now working properly; • The text input caret is now showing on text controls in web views; • Various other fixes have been implemented.

Download the Steam for Linux installer from Softpedia. Keep in mind that this is an updated for the Beta version, which means that other bugs might exist. Those bugs will be fixes in the next releases.
