Left 4 Dead 2 has been released by Valve, along with Portal, on Steam for Linux, for some time now, but the developers continue to update it on a regular basis and this latest release features a multitude of Linux changes.

Most of the Left 4 Dead 2 updates so far have been released for balancing purposes, but the new one deals with other issues.

For example, controller support has been fixed, support has been added for Chinese font rendering, problems with incorrect mouse grabbing when joining a game have been fixed, chainsaw effects are no longer stuck on when a player dies, and various map exploits have been corrected
