Vadim Computers Offers Quad Core PC

Remember how VoodooPC announced their Quad-Core powered machine? Well, I wouldn't advise you to hurry and buy it from them, since another integrator has just released a similar product into the market.

There's not much you can say about this PC that can be considered "normal". First, there's Kentsfield QX6700 series (4 Cores x 2.66GHz; 8MB level 2 cache) mounted on the Asus P5N32-SLI Premium WiFi-AP motherboard. 2GBs of Patriot 1066 DDR2 sticks and 2 8800 GTX cards running in SLI mode come next. As for the storage, you get 2 150GB Raptors in Raid 0 mode and a 750GB 7200.10 series hard drive. On the optical side there's a CDRW DVD Combo 52x32x52x16 Black Optical Drive and Pioneer 111DBK DVDRW Black. Evidently, the sound could only come from an X-fi Xtreme Music card. Windows Xp 64 bit comes preinstalled.

The components are wrapped in an ever amazing Lian-Li V2100B Plus Black case with custom laser cut window. The cooling is entirely based on water; the LiquoCool Antarctic TX Extreme is powerful enough to cool 1.5GB of video memory and a quad core. As for the PSU, the Enermax modular 1000W model is used.

When concerning the price, there's no surprise since this PC will be sold for around $8800. And - if that's no problem - I hope you can be pretty patient, since availability of such a product is not among its qualities.
