Recently, VTech released a brand new digital camera that targets kids aged three and upwards. As it is said to target the young ones, the device has surely undergone preliminary tests. The camera can be used to take photos, make movies and play games. It features interchangeable faceplates, which allow the user to customize the device with favorite electrifying colors.

Moreover, Kidizoom comes with pre-loaded games, and it is capable of displaying true colors on the integrated 1.8" high resolution LCD display. It seems that the 16MB storage capacity won't be enough for the kids, since they take the device almost anywhere. But the presence of a good old SD memory slot comes in handy for that.

Every kid should find it easy to use the camera, to capture and snap away with an integrated dual viewfinder, flash and big plastic chunky buttons. The device is available in different color versions at Toys'r'Us.

Vtech has an excellent reputation for making high quality learning toys suitable for kids of various ages, so it is pretty sure that they won't disappoint this time neither. The company announced that it is going to name the new product Vtech Kidizoom.

It is good to know that the company offers this camera with twice the capacity of the one offered by Fisher-Price model. Both cameras feature a resistant shape form and a funky design. They also have large grips on the side, to make it easy to handle for the kids, but there is still no word regarding the photo quality provided by Kidizoom.

Surely, the games and any software offered with the Vtech camera will be quite educational for all the kids, which might be an added bonus to the product.

The VTech Kidizoom is said to be soon marketed with a 115 bucks price tag, almost $70 for the Fisher-Price version, but the additional features prove it's worth it.
