TUL corporation has already released a rather large number of HD 5500 graphics cards through its PowerColor brand, but it seems that its VERTEX3D brand isn't going to be overlooked. VTX30 revealed that its product lineup had expanded with the addition of its ATI Radeon HD 5570 graphics card. Predictably, similar to all other releases, the card is described as capable of providing “the best in class graphics performance.”

The adapter uses a single-slot cooling solution, but is otherwise identical, specification-wise, to the reference card, with the exception that it uses slower DDR2 instead of DDR3 memory. Its graphics processing unit (GPU) runs at a clock speed of 650 MHz and the 1GB of VRAM has a memory interface of 128 bits with and a clock frequency set at 800 MHz. In addition, like most other HD 5570 models, the VTX3D HD5570 has software support for CrossFireX, so that two cards may operate in unison without the need for any auxiliary cables.

Among the useful features of the card are its low power consumption and smooth HD-media rendering capabilities. It consumes less than 45W under full loads and, thus, is an efficient and easy-to-implement solution for home-theater personal computers (HTPCs). Of course, the card supports DirectX 11 graphics and the ATI Stream technology, so that tasks may be offloaded from the CPU to the GPU, thus accelerating daily applications such as video encoding and transcoding.

“VTX3D HD5570 is the perfect solution for enhancing your home entertainment experience with DirectX® 11 and Windows® 7,” Willie Huang, sales director of VTX3D, said. “This is the card which can fulfill your multi-purpose demand and provide the maximum versatility!”

The card comes equipped with DVI, D-Sub and HDMI connectors and has a price revolving around the $80 point, as it is the case with the HD 5570 models from other manufacturers.
