An updated flavor of the VSCO Cam is now available for download for the owners of Android-based devices out there, in the form of version 3.0.

According to the release notes attached to the application, the new update brings along a nice set of enhancements, including VSCO Grid natively integrated into VSCO Cam.

Moreover, the application now allows users to find and follow other VSCO creatives and to explore the curated VSCO Grid.

The updated application iteration also comes with a series of UI changes, as well as with improved share functionality, and with refreshed location and privacy settings.

A variety of bug fixers and performance improvements were also included in the application as part of the update, the available release notes reveal.

Additionally, VSCO has announced the availability of Journal, a publishing platform for long-form content. It has been released as part of the VSCO Cam and VSCO Grid ecosystem, and is available for free.

It offers a “free, minimalist, mobile-first experience for telling narratives through images, videos, and words,” the company explains in a blog post. Journal is available only in a beta flavor at the moment.

Those of you interested in downloading the new VSCO Cam 3.0 for Android will find it available in the Google Play store.
