The essential cables are unremovable, but the others have plugs

Another day, another set of power supplies graces our shores. Cooler Master is the one making the announcement, and the series of PSUs in question is called VS.

VS is a short name, to be sure, but it's not as if the moniker has to be all that memorable. This isn't a gaming PC after all. PSUs aren't exactly the sort of thing people seek out specifically. They are decided upon only after the rest of the PC has been put together.

Anyway, the VS Series from Cooler Master is made for upper-range systems, and what they lack in power they make up for in efficiency. After all, they are 80 Plus Gold-rated.

There are three models, called VS450S, VS550S and VS650S. Their wattages are of 450W, 550W and 650W, respectively.

In that order, they cost €67/$67, €75/$75 and €85/$85. Not bad for semi-modular power supplies really.
