The update brings new customization options as well

VPlayer, the popular video player for Android devices, has just been updated with several fixes and new customization options.

Developed by ABitNo, VPlayer Video Player is close to reaching the 5 million downloads milestone on Google Play Store.

In order to give the application a download boost, developers have just released a new update that repairs some of the issues reported by users.

Moreover, the update adds the options to use different colors in video list item in order to indicate watched videos, as well as the possibility to use smoother thumbnails loading in video list.

With the latest version of VPlayer, users will also be able to take snapshots when using the hardware decoding in Android 4.1+ devices.

The update includes a fix for hardware decoding issues for some devices with Android 4.1+. It also repairs SeekBar and CheckBox style bugs for Android 4.2.

VPlayer Video Player 3.1.4 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.3 and up. Check it out here.
