VMware Fusion 5 Discounted by 40% on Cyber Monday

You can buy or upgrade to VMware Fusion 5 during a three-day Cyber Monday sale paying just $65.99 USD / €46.95, VMware Inc. has announced.

VMware Fusion 5 is optimized to take advantage of the newest technologies in OS X Mountain Lion, Windows 8 and the latest Macintosh computers.

The virtualization app is loaded with more than 70 new features including faster graphics and an enhanced user interface. It offers compatibility with Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 and over 200 other operating systems, including the most popular Linux distributions.

Updated recently, VMware Fusion 5.0.2 adds USB 3.0 stability improvements, graphics improvements when running the Microsoft Office 2013 preview, and fixed issues with the library and the Fusion start menu contents getting out of sync.

VMware Fusion requires any 64-­bit Intel Mac (Core 2 Duo, Xeon, i3, i5, i7 processors or better), 2GB of RAM (4GB recommended), 750MB free disk space for the app itself and at least 5GB for one virtual machine.
