Justin Timberlake was awarded with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards 2013, which just took place in Brooklyn, New York and, to celebrate, he took the audience and his fans at home on a trip down memory lane.

You can see his full, 17-minute performance embedded below.

Justin kicked it off with one of his most recent hits and worked his way back to his boyband past which, of course, brought his ‘NSYNC mates (Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick) on stage with him.

Contrary to earlier reports though, it was not a full-fledged performance but rather a blink-and-you-missed-it one. Still, it was infinitely better than nothing at all and the audience let him know that with their applause and wild cheers.

As Jimmy Fallon said in his introduction, Justin is the “President of Pop Music.” After this performance, there really is no doubt about that. Enjoy!
