14 DAY TRIAL // Celebrities are practically rushing to bury Miley Cyrus in criticism for her MTV VMAs 2013 performance, but Justin Timberlake stands out as one of the few to actually come in her defense.
As he puts it, “it’s the VMAs, what did you guys expect?”
Justin did an interview with 102.7 in NYC a few hours ago and, of course, he was asked what he thought of the whole Miley fiasco.
“It's not like she did it at the Grammys,” Justin says, trying to point out that the outrage is a bit out of place because the performance was a perfect fit with the tone of the MTV awards gala.
After all, JT continues, Madonna also did it, and so did Britney Spears and no one complained about that.
“I like Miley... I like Miley a lot. I think she's young. She's letting everybody know she's growing up,” he continues.
He even says that the stoned teddy bears that accompanied Miley while she twerked were “cool.”
