While Rihanna is campaigning for votes for the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards on Instagram, her celebrity friends / supporters are rushing to show their love for her work. Take Robert Pattinson, for example.

The actor sat down with MTV First just recently to talk about his latest film, “Cosmopolis” and, in between that and talking trivia, he also names a favorite for the hotly anticipated VMAs 2012.

“I like Rihanna's ['We Found Love'] video as well. I like whoever directed that; it’s cool. It’s got, like, good colors. It’s pretty,” he said laughing, as the video below will confirm.

He picked Rihanna even though he's friends with Katy Perry and she too is in the running.

The Video Music Awards 2012 will take place on September 6 and, just in case you haven't voted yet, know that it's not too late yet to do so.
