Just a few hours ago, Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun announced he’d be managing Korean pop star / YouTube sensation Psy. Psy will also be making an appearance at this week’s VMAs 2012.

As fans are getting ready for a series of awesome performances at the MTV Video Music Awards, they should also be preparing for what will be Psy’s official break on the US market.

Billboard confirms that the pop star, whose video for “Gangnam Style” has topped 100 million views on YouTube though it was never meant for audiences outside his home country, will be at the awards show.

“That future looks bright as Psy will have a major platform to up his American awareness at this week at the MTV Video Music Awards. In the same report that announced Psy's signing, it was also confirmed that he will make an appearance on the VMA stage this Thursday,” Billboard reports.

As we also noted earlier today, Scooter wants to make Psy into a bona fide star in the US and Europe as well. Our money’s on that he’ll be successful with that.
