VMAs 2012: Chris Brown and Rihanna Hug It Out

Chris Brown and Rihanna ceased being a couple in 2009, shortly after he attacked her in a fit of rage but, as RiRi herself admitted just recently on Oprah, they are still friends.

That was also obvious at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards 2012, as the photo above can confirm.

If you need further proof that they are on good terms and no longer trying to hide their friendship from the cameras, here’s more pics from the same event.

“The 24-year-old ‘Cockiness’ singer and the 23-year-old ‘Turn Up the Music’ singer hugged and appeared to give each other a friendly kiss in some pics grabbed as screenshots during a live feed of the show,” JustJared also notes.

Both Rihanna and Chris took home Moonmen for the videos they put out this past year, with RiRi also performing a medley for the fans.
