14 DAY TRIAL // VIA has released a brand new firmware for the VL811 hub controller, which brings a handful of fixes, as well as a consolidated firmware code.
For starters, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 issues have been resolved. The firmware code has been optimized and consolidated, so it can offer stability for the USB hub controller as well as the highest transfer rates for users.
The VL811 chipset is a SuperSpeed Hub Controller that enables four USB 3.0 ports which allow maximum data transfer rates of up to 5Gbps, or ten times the speed available to USB 2.0 based devices.
