VEVO, the music video site, is getting a visual revamp, after also getting a backend upgrade. The new site is now live, in countries where it works. The layout is a bit more social and geared more towards discovery.
The artist pages have also gotten a revamp, some of the details are gone, or hidden away, and the emphasis is now almost entirely on the videos. One drawback though is that the new site doesn't make it possible to navigate through an artist's page and still have a video playing.
The new site also works on mobile devices, which could prove useful to those who don't want to install the app.
Finally, VEVO TV is getting an expansion with the split into three channels, one for pop, one for country and one for R&B/Rap. VEVO TV plays a continuous stream of music videos, acting more like a TV channel, hence the name.
