There’s a growing number of reports, citing knowledgeable sources, confirming Apple’s deal with music video service Vevo to deploy a dedicated application for Apple TV.

The latest in this string of reports is one from Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the two companies’ plans.

“Apple Inc. is bringing music videos from Vevo LLC to Apple TV, as the iPhone maker adds programming for its $100 Internet-connected set-top box, said people familiar with the plans.”

Partially owned by Sony Corp.’s Sony Music Entertainment division, Vevo will reportedly introduce a software application for the Apple TV “in the coming weeks,” according to the same sources.

The app will offer “on-demand music videos as well as other programming,” the sources added. However, the same report reveals that Vevo will deploy a similar app for Samsung televisions, in its attempt to expand its revenue streams beyond YouTube.
