Luxury brand VERTU has finally attached a price tag to its VERTU Ti Android smartphone, confirming that it will be available for purchase at €7,900 ($10,587 / £6,994), BBC reports.

Featuring a titanium frame and a 3.7-inch sapphire screen, the new mobile phone also comes with appealing hardware specifications, aimed at matching the luxurious outer design.

“Inside VERTU Ti is a dual core 1.7GHz processor, 1GB RAM and 64GB of internal memory. Delivering strong performance and making VERTU Ti the most powerful Vertu handset to date,” the company notes on its website.

“The main 8MP rear camera provides stunning stills and 1080p high definition video capture. VERTU Ti also features a 2MP front facing Skype approved camera, enabling video calling.”

The handset also comes with Bang & Olufsen audio, while running under Android 4.0, as Vertu wanted to be part of the ecosystem, Chief Executive Perry Oosting told the BBC.
