Despite the relatively low price, it packs quite a punch

Gaming mice and keyboards, like any other piece of hardware made for the high-end market, usually cost a fair bit, close to a hundred bucks and sometimes even more.

Even less overkill gaming mice usually go for seventy dollars/euro or thereabouts.

Rapoo decided to stick to a price of no more than €59 / $59 - $74 when it made the V900 Laser Gaming Mouse.

And yet, it still gave it a 10.8 megapixel sensor, 1,000 Hz USB polling rate, 30 G acceleration, speed of 150 ips (3.8 meters per second) without delay or loss, and even a Pick-Up Flight Control Unit in the laser sensor, which allows you to use the mouse even if you lift it from 1 to 5 mm.

A V-Power3 Gaming Chip with 32-bit ARM core processor controls all these features, as well as the 8200 DPI VPRO Gaming Laser Sensor itself, plus the seven buttons which are fully customizable. Furthermore, a DPI Fast-Switch button allows you to toggle through DPI settings on the fly.

Basically, the mouse has everything you can expect from a gaming model. The only “drawback” is that it's only good for right-handed people, but that goes for most other mice as well, so it doesn't really count. You even have soft grip material to enjoy.

Unfortunately, while the Rapoo V900 from the company's VPRO gaming labs might cost €59, the EU tag will probably be closer to the exchange rate level instead of the $59 we hope for.
