In-ear earphones go for the dark red and black color theme

The True Blood moniker is one that V-MODA seems especially fond of, as its collection of audio products is now welcoming a new such item, even if only in a limited edition.

Consumer electronics and PC peripherals are the sort of devices in whose marketing performance the aesthetic preferences of consumers matter especially much.

Users may not care so much about what a motherboard, a piece of RAM or a video board looks like, as long as it works fine.

Electronics that are always in full view, however, do have to pay attention to the design side, even if their main purpose is more focused on the ears than the eyes.

V-MODA, like all other peripheral makers that did not fade into obscurity, knows this much very well.

The True Blood product line is its latest means of showing it, as all members of this so-called collection gravitate towards that easy-to-spot black-dark red color theme.

For those that might not remember, the company designed such things as the True Blood V-80 Special Edition headphones and Crossfade M-80.

Now, to underscore just how much the company likes this series, or perhaps to say that sales have been more than fine, V-MODA is releasing a new set of headphones.

In fact, it would be more accurate to say that the outfit is releasing new earphones, since the newcomers are of the in-ear variety.

Called Maker, the newcomers have a Zinc Metal die casting (for high durability and low acoustic resonance) and Kevlar-reinforced fabric cables.

V-MODA also threw in four sets of Bliss 3.0 hybrid silicone fittings, as well as the Active Flex detachable sport ear hooks.

Unfortunately, the price is not exactly the most accessible ($150) although, true enough, with these being a limited edition offer (only 400 will be sold), this was to be expected.

All those who decide to take the leap and order the Maker will get a carrying pouch as well, plus the two-year warranty.
