Jenessa Simons, of Salt Lake City, is the recipient of a modern-day miracle as she was able to locate her birth parents through the use of Facebook.
She posted a picture on the site, asking people to give Likes and share it. It included her, sitting alongside a board on which she wrote her request.
Jenessa put down how both her parents were born in 1975, and were 16 years old when they gave her up. She also included details about what hospital she was delivered at, and mentioned that her birth date is November 17, 1991.
Since she published the post on Sunday, Likes have started pouring in. The photo was a viral hit, shared over 100,000 times. As a result, she has been contacted by a woman who is saying she is her biological mother.
“It was awesome to hear from her, but I was mostly in shock. [...] I didn’t know what to say,” she describes the feeling, during an interview with
