A Utah man named Christopher Reeves was arrested for possession of drugs while wearing a Superman shirt.

The 33-year-old man was pulled over by Davis County Police because he was speeding and driving erratically along Interstate 15 in Kaysville at around 3 am. He was later arrested by the officers, as they found 52 grams of homemade methamphetamine, a synthetic form of marijuana called Spice, and other drug paraphernalia in his blue 2011 Chevy HHR.

Deputies say that Reeves also admitted to swallowing two pills of the drug Lortab two hours before he was busted by the police.

Christopher Reeves of Utah was charged with narcotics possession with the intent to distribute, DUI, and other offences. He was booked into the Davis County Jail on $15,000 (€10,900) bail.

It seems that this is not the first time he is in trouble, as he has been charged with felony crimes eight times between 1998 and 2000, Daily Mail reports. Moreover, the fake Man of Steel has received three traffic tickets since January 2014.

The fact that he shares the name of the late actor who achieved fame for his role in a series of superhero movies like the 1978 Superman is just a coincidence, as he is certainly not fighting for truth and justice.
