R&B singer Usher and ex-wife Tameka Foster did not part on amicable terms, but they're still by each other's side in times of trouble. Tameka's 11-year-old son from a previous relationship has been pronounced brain dead by doctors.

Over the weekend, Kyle Glover was involved in a very serious accident on Lake Lanier and is now in an Atlanta hospital.

He was struck by a jet ski in the head and has not been responsive ever since, TMZ reports.

“According to our sources, Glover was sitting in an inner tube on Lake Lanier when he was hit in the head. We're told Glover was unresponsive when he was taken out of the water,” the celebrity e-zine says.

“Our sources say Glover remains unresponsive and is currently in critical condition. We're told that despite Usher's acrimonious divorce from Foster, he chartered a plane for Tameka, who was out of town, to be by her son's side,” adds the same media outlet.

An investigation is now underway to determine how the accident took place and, just as importantly, who's responsible for it.

In a separate post, TMZ reports that both Tameka and Usher are now at the hospital, praying for the 11-year-old.

Unfortunately, he's been declared brain dead by doctors and his condition remains critical.

“According to our sources, Kyle Glover (son of Usher's estranged wife Tameka Foster) has not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted to the hospital. We're told there has been no decision yet as to whether or not to take him off life support,” TMZ writes.

“Our sources say Usher arrived at the hospital last night and Tameka has not left the hospital since she got there,” adds the e-zine.

Usher and Tameka divorced in 2009 after 2 years of marriage. They have two sons together, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd Ely Raymond.
