Usher and 50 Cent appear to be the most appreciated R&B/ Hip-Hop artists, as they were declared the big winners at the Billboard-American Urban Radio Networks R&B/Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta, Georgia, broadcast on August 5. The winners were determined by actual sales or radio airplay.
Usher was named Top R+B/Hip-Hop Artist, Top Male Artist and Top R+B/Hip-Hop Singles Artist and 50 Cent picked up three accolades, including Top R+B/Hip-Hop Albums Artist , Top Rap Album and Top R+B/Hip-Hop Album for The Massacre.
Other big winners at the ceremony in The Compound club, included Alicia Keys, who was named Top Songwriter and Top Female Artist, while teen newcomer Mario picking up Top Single and Top Single Airplay for Let Me Love You.
