Usher Takes the Heat for Sexy Video Shoot

Usher's wife Tameka Foster got a lot of bad press a while ago, when her husband's career still seemed to be going somewhere. Back in the age when they were not married and didn't have their kid, Tameka was targeted by the press for allegedly being an uber-bitch and sabotaging her husband's work relationships. She was rumored to be behind her husband's fall out with his mother Jonetta Patton, who acted as his manager before his engagement to Foster. At the time, Usher also fired his publicists and was said to have completely fallen under his future wife's spell, giving in to her every whim. Now that the singer is trying to make a comeback, his wife is said to be back in bitching mode, sabotaging the shoot of the video for his new song "Love in the Club".

The video shoot in question took place about a week ago in Los Angeles. On-set spies report Tameka was extremely displeased with her husband's co-star, the gorgeous and talented Keri Hilson, who was allegedly hand-picked by Usher himself to play his video character's partner and love interest. "It was supposed to be a sexy video shoot", an insider states. "And Tameka was there the entire time guarding like a watchdog. It was ridiculous - she knows Keri and knows she’s no video ho", the same source added. However, it didn't stop Foster from bitching everyone around – including Hilson – and acting in a very "domineering" way.

"Tameka is very insecure. Even in rehearsals she was weird and clearly not happy that Keri is so gorgeous", the source also reveals. "Tameka threw a lot of attitude. The day of the shoot, Tameka dressed Keri very badly - she looked like an extra. Tameka wouldn’t let Keri have her hairdresser there - she had to use the hairdresser who was doing the extras". What no one seems to understand is why Usher is putting up with his wife's attitude, particularly since she seems to be distancing him from all his friends and trusted advisors. "Tameka was the one and only one to call the shots", on-set spies said. Usher will probably get to realize his wife is a bad influence on his career, but it will take some time – hopefully, he'll see the light before it's too late.
