14 DAY TRIAL // Usher and wife of less than two years Tameka Foster have hit a low point in their relationship, a tidbit in yesterday’s PageSix said. New reports suggest now that the couple is not simply going through a crisis, since Usher has already made the decision to divorce the mother of his children, TMZ says.
The only catch is, according to the same publication, that Tameka has no idea about what’s coming her way, being completely in the dark as regards Usher initiating the divorce proceedings. It seems that Tameka has not even spoken to her husband for several days in a row, but not for lack of trying, TMZ stresses: she simply can’t get a hold of him because she doesn’t know where he is and he’s not picking up the phone.
“If Usher Raymond filed for divorce from his wife Tameka [Foster] Raymond – it’s news to her. Here’s what we know. Although there are rumors Usher has filed, we’re told by sources close to Tameka that she has yet to receive any papers. But our source also tells us Tameka hasn’t spoken to Usher ‘in a few days’ and has been trying to get a hold of him the entire time.” TMZ writes of the persistent rumor currently making the rounds, that Usher wants out of the marriage.
Moreover, the paparazzi agency adds, as far as its moles were able to dig out, there is no divorce filing registered with the courts on Usher’s behalf. Still, other US media outlets point out, the singer’s past behavior would seem to indicate that he was bent on getting a legal separation from Tameka, presumably to be with the other woman now in his life, Island Deff Jam staffer Grace Miguel, as identified yesterday by PageSix.
“Usher has been spotted with a ‘mystery woman’ we’ve identified as Island Def Jam staffer Grace Miguel. Last week, KM Press Group photographed Miguel and Usher – who married Tameka Foster in 2007 – at Malibu Country Market, and the singer wasn’t wearing his wedding band. Then, late Thursday night, he and Miguel were snapped by X17 entering the Sun set Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood.” PageSix wrote, summing the reports circulating in the media.
