This isn’t the first time when Windows 9 is “blamed” for Windows 8’s poor sales performance, but one more company is now claiming that some users may actually skip Microsoft’s latest operating system altogether.

Motion Computing, a company that creates tablet PCs and solutions for mobile professionals, told TabTimes that Windows 7 is regarded as the best choice for most users out there, so many might actually wait for Windows 9 before making the move to a new operating system.

“Today, our customers say that Windows 7 is what they need. A lot of them are still transitioning from XP and some research suggests that businesses will skip Windows 8 altogether and go to Windows 9,” Motion Computing's Northern Europe Country Manager Ian Davies was quoted as saying by the source.

As far as Windows 8 is concerned, consumers are well aware that it comes with some limitations, so many actually decide to go for Windows 7 when buying a new computer.

“Windows 8 is great for us, but some customers realize that there are limitations with it,” he added.
