The UserVoice feedback platform is full of really interesting suggestions for Windows 10, and one that's getting votes really fast these days calls for Microsoft to include the apps' title bars directly into the main window.

Basically, this would create a much more modern UI for the desktop altogether while also perfectly matching Microsoft's new borderless windows, which are exclusively available in Windows 10.

A similar UI can already be seen in a number of apps, such as the new OneNote, when launched in full-screen mode, so all buttons that were previously available in the title bar are now available at the top of the window, thus saving space and improving the overall look of the app.

User concept envisions the new UI

Right now, this particular feature suggestion already has more than 1,000 votes on UserVoice, and thanks to a Reddit post, anyone can see what the implementation would look like in Windows 10 if Microsoft indeed agreed to introduce this feature in the upcoming operating system.

The colored title bars indeed look really eye-candy on Modern apps, but there's no doubt that Microsoft could make them available across the entire operating system in a way that would greatly improve its overall appearance and would create a similar visual experience across all working environments.

Right now, there's no confirmation that Microsoft is at least considering such an option, but given the fact that the company has introduce this kind of UI for Modern apps, a similar tweak could soon be rolled out for desktop software as well.

According to people close to the matter, Windows 10 could launch in the fall of 2015, so there's still enough time to significantly change the look of the desktop side in the new OS, so make sure that you cast your votes for features you want to see as soon as possible.
