Clonezilla Live 2.2.2-7, a Linux distribution based on DRBL, Partclone, and udpcast that allows users to do bare metal backup and recovery, is now ready for testing.

Clonezilla Live 2.2.2-7 is now the latest development version of this backup and recovery Linux distribution.

“The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2014/Feb/10),” reads the announcement.

Also, drbl has been updated to version 2.7.24-drbl1, Clonezilla has been updated to version 3.9.22-drbl1, and parted is now used instead of fdisk in makeboot.sh to show the destination of the disk partition layout.
