If crazy out of the ordinary headphones are what you are after then you probably must have heard of Urbanears since this company is behind some of the most outrageous and colorful earphones available, the Plattan Plus being its latest ”made for iPhone” creation.

Just as the regular Plattan, that were released not so long before them, these also feature a microphone as well as an incline remote, although, this time, the headset also comes with volume control buttons and a special function to control music and calls.

The out of the ordinary design is however what makes these headphones unique, Urbanears going with an fabric look for the adjustable headband as well as for the cord, making them more resilient to wear and tear and a lot more stylish.

Furthermore, Urbanears also states the over the ears Plattan Plus “allows for rich secluded sound” thanks to its full size 40mm handmade drivers that offer a 20-20kHz frequency response and 112db sensitivity level, the collapsible design allowing users to easily carry these, even inside their coat's pocket.

Another feature that deserves mentioning is the special “zound-plug” which allows a friend to plug in and enjoy your music at the same time, a welcomed option if you often find yourself eager to share your vibes with a friend or two.

The Plattan Plus is available in 4 colors, red, white, aubergine and dark grey, starting November 2nd, in stores throughout US and Canada for a suggested price of $60 USD, a pretty OK price point provided that the listening experience is up to par.

Unfortunately, this Swedish company did not state if these will be available outside of North America but, judging by their history, I am expecting the Plattan Plus to show up pretty soon in their online shop that ships all over the world.
