If you think your eyes are deceiving you, stay calm. This isn't the case. The house you see in the photo above is actually being built upside down.

It seems a bit confusing, but the building is actually sitting on its roof. You might think that it has been uprooted by a powerful hurricane and turned upside down, but in reality it has been built this way.

The two-story upside-down house is currently under construction in the Fengting Ancient Town in Shanghai, east China, and its purpose is to attract tourists. So, no one will have to live in a topsy-turvy environment.

The house will have three rooms in which all furnishings will be placed upside down and is expected to open to the public in April. The front door is actually an upstairs window, while inside, the furniture is placed on the ceiling and the lights on the floor.

A beautiful garden will also be built in front of the house, the Mirror reports.

A similar project was built at the VVTs the All-Russia Exhibition Center in Moscow and opened to the public just last month.

There are also upside down houses in California, South Korea, Poland, Florida and so on.
