Users will be able to easily upload the last video via voice command

A new flavor of the Upload to YouTube application is now available for download for the owners of Windows Phone 8.1 devices out there, namely version 2.1.0.0.

The new application iteration arrives on handsets with a great new feature, allowing users to easily upload videos via voice control (though the feature is available only for English speakers), courtesy of Cortana integration.

One thing that should be noted, however, is that the feature only supports the uploading of the latest video in the camera roll. For that, they will simply need to say “Cortana, upload the last video to YouTube.”

At the same time, the updated mobile client comes with Norwegian translation capabilities, as well as with a series of additional options for users’ uploads. Various bug fixes have been also included in the new app release, it seems.

The mobile application has been released only with support for Windows Phone 8.1 devices, and allows users to easily upload videos straight from the camera roll.

However, it also offers support for uploading videos from another location on the phone. Users will simply need to select the video, choose Share, and then select Upload to YouTube.

The Upload to YouTube for Windows Phone 8.1 application is available for download via the Windows Phone Store.
