Exclaim and Kodak Gallery announced the release of KODAK Mobile Link, an application which speeds up the process of uploading, downloading and sharing photos and videos captured with the mobile phone's camera. The application is currently available on CDMA BREW wireless carriers in the U.S.

KODAK Mobile Link eliminates the need to attach photos to MMS messages for uploading. Instead, mobile phone users simply press a button and their photos are automatically connected to the Kodak Gallery photo service, from where they can be easily shared, printed and stored. Users can also view their Kodak Gallery albums from within the application. The application includes an automatic account creation feature that enables users without a Kodak Gallery account to create one from their mobile phone.

"KODAK Mobile Link is an exciting photo-sharing option that helps people easily share their personal, every-day stories," said David Westendorf, senior director, worldwide partnerships at KODAK Gallery. "Exclaim's adaptable platform will help us reach more people in every corner of the world. We look forward to launching this application with Exclaim, and continuing to grow our own wireless business."

KODAK Mobile Link is based on Exclaim's Pictavision Platform, a digital imaging and media management application for mobile devices. The program instantly converts any BREW, Java, and Symbian-powered camera phone into a powerful wireless photo and video upload, messaging, printing and editing device compatible with major digital media websites.

Users can download a version of KODAK Mobile Link software directly from their camera phone from supported wireless carriers under the application download section. The subscription cost starts at $3.99 per month in the United States. Additional GSM Java wireless carriers are scheduled to support KODAK Mobile Link in the first half of 2007.
