If you are running Windows Vista and also using the default desktop email client that ships with the operating system, then you will be happy to hear that you can access and upgrade Windows Mail immediately. Concomitantly with the release of an unified installer for the Windows Live online platform, Microsoft has also introduced a fresh update to Windows Live Mail. The Windows Live installer is designed to act as an intimate connection between the Windows desktop client and company's cloud operating system. And Microsoft has synchronized the beta
releases of the Windows Installer, along with those of Windows Live Messenger 8.5, Windows Live Mail, Windows Live Writer and Windows Live Photo Gallery.

"It's been about 3 months since our last Beta release for WL Mail, and I know that many of you have been eagerly awaiting an update. Well, wait no more! Today we're releasing an updated Beta build for Windows Live Mail." revealed Tanja Fournier, Program Manager on the Windows Live Mail Team. "Since we released our first WL Mail Beta on May 31st, we've gotten some incredible feedback from our Beta testers about what they liked and didn't like. We've taken a lot of that feedback to heart - and with this latest build, I think you'll see some newly added functionality to our existing features, but also fixes for a number of the top customer-reported issues."

Windows Live Mail brings a few enhancements to the default email client in Windows Vista and provided that you use the application instead of an alternative you will be bale to enjoy the improvements. Fournier explained that Beta 2, Build: 12.00.1365 comes with a few updates for the Contacts in Windows Mail. Contacts now features a List View and a Preview Pane, as well as new Import and Explorer features.

"Now you can pick and choose which buttons you would like to have visible to you in the Toolbar. Quick Views will allow you to view mail from all your different accounts in one location, rather than having to switch between folders in your folder list. With this release, we've included a couple new options…"All Drafts" and "All Junk E-mail"," Fournier added.

Windows Live Mail is available for download here.
