Are you a naughty fellow/gal? Do you like playing word games with people that have bad accents (or bad education)? Well, now you can give those people a break and play word games on your iPod. How about elegant sports, such as golf? Are you a fan of those too? If so, this is your week, because EA has up a golf game too, for your iPod. Check below for info and screens on the iTunes pair.

An updated version of the popular Scrabble board game is now available for your iPod (3rd generation, classic and 5th generation) via Apple's iTunes store. More than that, this week is witnessing the release of two EA iPod games, the second of which is Mini Golf.

Scrabble includes flexible difficulty levels, a built-in word list, dynamic animations and full-board views (enlarged), according to the game's description up on the iTunes Store. Players may choose to play by themselves, vs CPU and "enjoy pass 'n' play with a friend. Players can track scores and tracks which they can later compare to each others, while the Scrabble players' ultimate goal is to get that "best word" up on the board (the optimal word that can be formed with your tiles).

The game's main attractions are the zoom-in feature, the multitude styles of play and difficulty levels, a hints feature, pass 'n' play with up to four friends at once, customizable game rules, score stats and multiple audio tracks.

EA's vision of golf games also sounds like a lot of fun. The giant developer and publisher of video games has confirmed that the iPod version of Mini Golf sports three themed courses filled with hazardous obstacles but secret shortcuts as well, so you can always buy up to par.

The game boast realistic ball physics, according to EA, with players being able to move the camera around for the perfect aim. This description approach may lead some to believe that Mini Golf for iPods is a 3D game, which is not, as the screenshots reveal. Nevertheless, unlocking new courses such as Tropical Tiki and Ancient Egypt in a total of 3 game modes (including practice) should prove to be a lot of fun.

Both EA iPod titles are now available for download via the iTunes Store for 5 bucks a piece.
