A new flavor of the GPS World Map for BlackBerry is now available for download from the BlackBerry App World with support for all devices that run under BlackBerry OS 6 or newer, as well as for the BlackBerry PlayBook.
The new flavor of the application, namely version 7.2.6.28, arrives on devices with a variety of bug fixes, being meant to provide users with better stability, as well as with improved performance.
For those out of the loop, we should note that the GPS World Map comes from Skylab Mobilesystems and that it was designed to work great in offline mode.
The software makes use of cached map data, allowing users to take advantage of its capabilities even when they don’t have a Wi-Fi or mobile data connectivity.
The app is available in the
BlackBerry App World with a price tag of $4.99 (€3.83) attached to it.
