Apple's Macs represent some of the most powerful and attractive alternative for the old-fashioned PCs, but it seems like the company aims to offer even more professional elements for its products. AppleInsider reported that Apple prepares a major facelift for its next generation iMacs after the company's official had an important meeting with its design chief Jonathan Ive and his team.

"AppleInsider has learned that Apple's popular line of iMac personal computers are about to undergo a substantial facelift that will showcase striking new industrial designs aimed at leaving both competitors and onlookers smitten. People familiar with the matter say the Cupertino-based Mac maker has called upon its award-winning design chief Jonathan Ive and his team to cut the fat from the the current iMac line and outfit a pair of new Core 2 Duo-based models in a form factor that will be both slimmer and sleeker than today's offerings," the publication sustained.

As you surely know if you're a Mac lover, the design of the available iMac is very attractive for all the users looking to find an alternative for the old-fashioned PCs or laptops. This is a major facelift prepared by the company in the last years because Apple hadn't created an improved design since 2004, when they introduced the revolutionary iMac G5. At this time, the iMacs are available in three flavors, allowing users to choose from a 17, 20 or 24-inch model.

Because the rumors are quickly spreading on the Internet, there were also several price cuts; AppleInsider reported such cases in Canada, where the resellers tried to sell all of their iMacs currently available. I guess this is quite an opportunity for most of the Mac fans because we're now able to buy this amazing technology at low prices. So, spread the rumors!
