March 14 will have a major significance for Android fans in India. Aside from the fact that Samsung will announce the Galaxy S IV, Lava Mobiles is expected to release one of its most powerful XOLO smartphones as well.

The mysterious XOLO device is advertised on the Indian company’s Facebook page, but there are no names attached to it. However, rumors suggest that it will be launched as XOLO X1000.

We have previously thought that this handset will be equipped with Intel’s latest Clover Trail+ chipset, but AndroidOS claims that new information suggests that the upcoming XOLO smartphone will be powered by an older Intel Medfield processor.

Some details on the phone’s specs have also emerged online, like the fact that the XOLO smartphone will boast a 4.7-inch display that supports HD (720p) resolution. No other info is available for the moment, but stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
