I told you not so long ago that Samsung is getting ready to unleash four new tablet models onto the market in Q1 2014 and the cheap Galaxy Tab 3 is one of them.

And to confirm the slate is indeed coming in 2014, the device code-named SM-T110 has just been spotted going through the FCC, thus receiving certification for US networks.

According to previous information, the Tab 3 Lite tablet will be the cheapest tablet Sammy has ever put on the market with a price tag of around €100 / $134.

The new device is expected to feature a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and will bundle a 1.2GHz dual-core processor in its entrails.

Moreover, the Tab 3 Lite will provide 3G connectivity and will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. Customers will be able to grab the slate in white and black flavors when it comes out in January.
