Looks like MSI isn't willing to abandon netbooks in the rain just yet

Intel's Cedar Trail CPU platform is out and about, so Micro-Star International decided to build a netbook called Wind U180.

This is a relatively generic low-end device, like netbooks always have been meant to be.

With a screen size of 10.1 inches and a resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels, the laptop relies on an Atom N2800 1.86 GHz CPU.

Also, it boasts 1 GB of RAM, Intel GMA 3650 graphics and a HDD with 320 GB storage space.

The I/O options don't skip on wireless connectivity (802.11 b/g/n WiFi) but they do fail to include Gigabit Ethernet (only 10/100 LAN is present).

Finally, Micro-Star International gave the Wind Series U180 a 0.3-megapixel camera, a 2-in-1 card reader and a 6-cell battery.

Windows 7 Starter is loaded onto the mobile PC and the price is of 325.90-350 Euro (pre-orders only, for now).
