Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless is expected to bring to the market some new Android-based handsets that would fit its DROID lineup, and some of them have been recently spotted in the company's internal systems.

Various rumors on these devices already emerged into the wild, complemented by official announcements on a few of them, such as the DROID Bionic, or on what should soon become the DROID Charge.

The DROID Bionic is a new Android-based device from Motorola, which includes a dual-core application processor, the same as the Motorola ATRIX 4G (though less RAM than the already available device), and support for the carrier's 4G LTE network.

Another Motorola Android phone that would arrive at Verizon Wireless soon would be the DROID X2, which was spotted at large a few times before, but which is unannounced as of yet.

Some of the previous rumors on this device suggested that it might arrive on shelves with a dual-core application processor too, and with a qHD touchscreen display.

One other new mobile phone to Verizon's lineup would be the DROID Charge, which is said to be the same 4G LTE-capable Samsung Android smartphone that Verizon unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Although the device went official, Verizon and Samsung did not unveil a specific name or release date for it, but it might not be too long before they do so.

One other Android smartphone in Verizon's upcoming lineup would be the DROID Incredible 2, which is said to be the one and the same HTC Incredible S that was unveiled to the world in February during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

We already had the chance to take a better look at this device, courtesy of leaked photos, but Verizon still has to make a formal announcement on it. Of course, the carrier still has to share with us exact info on the availability of each of the DRIOD handsets that can be seen on the leaked shots below (courtesy of Droid-life), so stay tuned for more.
